Job description

Haugland Group, a privately owned Long Island, New York-based civil infrastructure and energy construction company, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operations Associate to support our busy South Windsor, CT warehouse location.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual, with the ability to adhere to direction. The right candidate will have a positive attitude, willing to learn new skills, and be a dedicated worker.

Key Functions:
  • Responsible for general warehouse duties including laboring, driving, and organizing inventory.
  • Assist in preparing bucket trucks, coordinating equipment and materials, and ensuring readiness of tools and supplies.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse operations to support routine utility work.
  • Unload, palletize, and store materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate dollies and pallet jacks to safely move heavy equipment and boxes.
  • Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure readiness for field deployment.
  • Work closely with field crews and supervisors to stage and dispatch materials and vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company safety standards.
  • Support inventory tracking, cycle counts, and reordering of supplies and tools.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior warehouse and/or logistics experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with bucket truck setup and staging preferred.
  • Knuckle Boom Operator certification or experience is a plus.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Clean driving record required; Class A or Class B CDL preferred.
  • Capable of lifting more than 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Must be willing and able to work occasional nights and weekends.
