Job description

Job Description
The Warehouse Operations Associate will assist the Supply Chain Team and the Parts department in maintaining the warehouse inventory and supply. This position will be responsible for inventory maintenance and record keeping as well as the receiving, shelving, packing, and delivering of inventory orders with both the Parts and Provisions teams.
This position requires the candidate to be 100% on-site at our North Stonington, CT facility. Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Please note this role is not remote; only candidates within a commutable distance or willing to relocate should apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the shipping and handling of materials to remote locations of operation, as needed

  • Execute inventory audits and storage unit reviews

  • Assist with receiving, unpacking and shelving of inventory, box breakdown and proper disposal

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to the cleaning of the warehouse

  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Basic understanding of inventory policies and procedures

  • Proficient keyboarding skills

  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision

  • Ability to preform basic math calculations

  • Strong problem solving

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

  • Ability to navigate warehouse environment reaching items high and low

  • Ability to stand or sit for periods of time up to four hours with minimal rest periods

  • Proficiency with Mac and Windows applications preferred

  • Valid and encumbered drivers license


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
