Summary

The Warehouse Operations Associate is responsible for assisting in warehouse operations and providing administrative support to ensure the efficient flow of materials, accurate inventory, timely deliveries, and effective communication between warehouse, office, operations, vendors, and field teams.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate daily pickups, deliveries, returns, RTVs, and material transfers based on production and installation schedules.

  • Receive, inspect, organize, stage, label, and prepare materials for jobs as needed for subcontractors, and field deployment.

  • Verify purchase orders, quantities, product information, finishes, and receiving documentation.

  • Maintain accurate job and inventory information in SAP, and other company systems.

  • Perform monthly inventory, cycle counts, and work-in-progress reporting.

  • Track shortages, damages, back orders, returns, and inventory discrepancies.

  • Assist in coordination of loading and unloading of materials

  • Communicate with vendors, installers, subcontractors, field managers, project coordinators, and internal teams regarding material availability and schedules.

  • Prepare reports related to inventory, shortages, damages, returns, and material usage.

  • Support billing by confirming material receipt and job readiness.

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, mail, and general office communications.

  • Order office and warehouse supplies and assist with purchasing and vendor coordination.

Education & Experience

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with moderate supervision.

Preferred

  • Bilingual

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material tracking and movement.

  • Proficient in operating slab-handling equipment and warehouse machinery.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
