Job description

We are seeking an organized Warehouse Operations Assistant with Forklift experience to support daily warehouse and office operations. This role includes handling shipping documents, driver paperwork, and system data entry, as well as assisting with inventory control, cycle counts, and timekeeping.
Shift: 5AM - 1:30 PM
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Overtimeb required)
Pay range: $23-$23
Key Responsibilities:
  • File digital and hard copies of all paper work (pick ticket, manifest and route sheets)
  • Process previous day's routes manifests and attached signatures into Eclipse
  • Help answer phone calls and emails
  • Process all daily driver paperwork
  • Assist HR with new hire orientations and temporary employee paperwork
  • Enter all new employee setup into timekeeping system and enter all manual timesheets into the system Monday mornings
  • Help Inventory Control process cycle as needed.
  • Conduct daily row counts
  • Prepare and process all COD's collected while checking for accuracy
  • Submit daily deposit to the corporate office
  • Assist management with Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Ensure that all employee files and training are up to date
  • Prepare monthly operations report, and submit to Operations Manager
  • Collect daily coupons received, create log and ship to corporate

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating all of the following:
    • Cherry Picker
    • Reach Truck
    • Stand-On Electric Pallet Jack
    • Sit-Down Forklift
  • Must maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance in accordance with company standard.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Hayward, CA
  • 2 years of experience working with Logistics, Distribution or Supply Chain Management Software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel)
  • Energetic / takes initiative
  • Must be able to lift up to 44lbs unassisted...can be physically demanding
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the job safely and effectively
