What You'll Be Doing

- Machine Operation:

Set up, operate, and monitor acrylic cutting machines, ensuring they function correctly.

Load acrylic sheets and materials onto the cutting machines according to production schedules.

Adjust machine settings (such as speed, feed rate, and cutting depth) based on material thickness and design specifications.

- Quality Control:

Inspect acrylic pieces after cutting to ensure they meet quality standards, such as size, shape, and finish.

Perform basic quality checks and measurements using tools like calipers and micrometers.

Report any defects or issues to the supervisor for corrective action.

- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance (e.g., cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn parts).

Identify machine malfunctions or defects and perform minor troubleshooting or repairs.

Communicate any major issues or breakdowns to the maintenance team.

- Safety and Compliance:

Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials to maintain a safe work environment.

Comply with company policies and procedures concerning quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

What You're Expected to Bring to Fab Glass and Mirror

To thrive in this role, you will need:


- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or machine operations is a plus.

- Experience: Prior experience operating acrylic cutting machines, or similar machinery preferably within the glass or manufacturing industry. 

Machine Operations: 2 years

Warehouse: 2 years

Picking & Packing: 1 year

- Skills: Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

Strong commitment to quality control and compliance with safety protocols.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to efficiently perform packing and picking tasks with precision and attention to detail.
