ABOUT THE ROLE

The Machine Operator will be responsible for retrieving inventory from both floor locations and up-stock storage for Product Transfers and deliver to the designated area for stocking or shipment. The Restock Driver is required to operate machinery following all safety rules and regulations.

This position is part of our PRIME division, operating under the S&S Activewear parent company. PRIME plays a key role in delivering specialized solutions while aligning with the broader mission and values of S&S Activewear.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

Hourly Pay (40 hours)

Monday - Friday, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.e; Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS.
  • Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.
  • Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency
  • Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas
  • Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software
  • Act professionally and remain focused while working
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment
  • Follow directions of leadership
  • Perform cleaning activities as required
  • Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORE

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Must be comfortable using electronic devices
  • Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery - Forklift/Cherry Picker Driver Experience
  • Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Responsible for any additional duties assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
  • The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
  • Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
  • Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
