We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity at the newly constructed electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant. This is a performance based, 12-year, O&M contract providing hard services of MEP equipment within the facility, excluding the manufacturing and production equipment. The objective is to maintain a seamless environment by assuring that equipment is performing to specifications to facilitate uninterrupted manufacturing and administrative functions.

What you will do:

The Inventory Technician Laborer is responsible for supporting inventory management operations through physical labor tasks such as material handling, stocking, and organizing inventory. This role involves assisting with shipments, maintaining accurate stock levels, and ensuring the efficient movement of materials. The Inventory Technician Laborer plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse or facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling:
    • Load, unload, and move materials, products, or equipment manually or using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other tools.

    • Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse or facility.

  • Inventory Management Support:
    • Assist with inventory counts and audits to verify stock accuracy.

    • Report shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies to supervisors.

  • Shipping and Receiving:
    • Help with receiving incoming shipments and checking for accuracy against purchase orders.

    • Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and verifying contents.

  • Facility Maintenance:
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including shelves, storage areas, and loading docks.

    • Follow safety protocols and ensure materials are stored securely.

  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with Logistics Manager, On-site staff, and supervisors to meet operational goals.

    • Communicate issues or delays to the appropriate personnel.

Preferred Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory management, or labor-intensive role (preferred).

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to company-specified weight limits).

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.

  • Forklift certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain).

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Flexibility to work on-call or during emergencies, as required.

  • May be asked to perform additional duties as required.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19-25 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
