Job description

Warehouse Worker- WEEKLY PAY- START ASAP

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $20/hour

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5PM to 3AM

The Warehouse Worker accurately picks, receives, issues, and transfers products to support efficient warehouse operations and maintain precise inventory levels. This role uses RF scanners, labeling systems, and material handling equipment to build pallets, prepare customer-specific orders, and ensure products are ready for safe and accurate shipment. The position is physically demanding and requires strong attention to detail, adherence to established work standards, and safe operation of manual and powered equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick, issue, receive, and transfer products to maintain accurate inventory levels throughout the warehouse.
  • Use RF scanners and stickers to confirm product locations and quantities during picking and inventory activities.
  • Apply labels and stickers to cases to identify customer-specific orders and ensure shipment accuracy.
  • Build up to two full pallets per pass through the warehouse and repeat the process as needed to meet order volume.
  • Maintain established work standards for order picking, productivity, and accuracy.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn operation of an 8-foot riding pallet jack, including basic controls such as up, down, forward, backward, and stop.
  • Proficiency using RF scanners (RF guns) to scan locations and confirm product quantities.
  • Ability to follow a numerically slotted system for accurate product picking.
  • Strong labeling and organizational skills to apply stickers to cases for customer identification and shipment accuracy.

Why Work Here?

This opportunity offers strong pay for the area and clear pathways for advancement, allowing you to grow your skills and progress in your warehouse career. Team members enjoy access to free products from distributors, adding a unique perk to the role. You will work in an environment that values productivity, reliability, and safety, while recognizing and rewarding hard work and high performance.

Work Environment:

This role operates in a fast-paced warehouse setting where you will spend most of your shift on your feet, moving throughout the facility and handling cases. The facility can become hot at times during the summer, so comfort with working in warmer conditions is important.
