NewTech Global is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker for an opportunity in Houston, Texas.
Shift: Day Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Overtime as needed
OverviewThe Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy, workplace safety, and an organized work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations.
- Load, unload, sort, stage, and distribute materials.
- Read warehouse documentation and accurately record inventory transactions.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues.
- Follow all company safety, HSE, and warehouse procedures.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Facility Group Specific Responsibilities
- Ensure material availability for assembly floor and capital builds.
- Support warehouse operations as directed by warehouse management.
- Safely operate around heavy equipment and maintain accountability for assigned work.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one (1) year of warehouse experience required.
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
Job Requirements
- Less than 5% travel.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with exposure to noise, heat, and cold.
- Frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Willingness to learn new systems and follow all required training.

Technical Competencies
- Experience operating forklifts, jib cranes, and overhead cranes.

- Oracle experience preferred.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to wear required PPE and work at heights when necessary.
- Class III & IV forklift experience (Hyster 50-170, Order Picker, Manlift, Reach Truck) preferred.
