Job description

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking unloader/warehouse worker to join our team. Our operation is simple; you will be working in teams of two to unload 3-4 trailers per day. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of unloading heavy boxes and be familiar with basic unloading protocols and safety guidelines.

Overview: The team will be unloading boxes out of trailers by hand.

  • Picking up 50-150 lbs. boxes off a trailer floor and placing them onto an appropriately sized wooden pallet (By Hand).
  • When the pallet is complete, you will put a top sheet on and a light layer of plastic wrap.
  • The pallet is removed (using a pallet jack) and placed to the side or designated area nearby.
  • Get another pallet and repeat until the trailer is empty. (Sweep the trailer and clean your work area)
  • This is accomplished with 2 people, and we are averaging 2-3 hours per trailer (some trailers can take 3-4 hours max).
  • Each trailer will typically have 160 to 5000 boxes in it (more product = more money).
  • We have a standard of unloading 3-4 trailers per team of two.

Pay:

  • Paid per trailer (Payout per trailer varies based on the quantity of boxes in that trailer)
  • The faster/efficient you are, the more you make.
  • The average unloader can make $500 to $700 in a week

Requirements

  • Has worked a physically demanding job before
  • Has steel toe/composite toe shoes
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Reliable attendance

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday (Occasional mandatory Saturdays)
  • 2:30pm to 11:00pm (You are expected to stay the entire shift)
Employment Type: FULL_TIME
