Our Role:
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the execution of all staging and inventory operations, which includes, monitoring and researching inventory issues, and providing solutions for at our main logistics facility in Columbus, GA. Scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and accurately reporting results will be expected. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations for the staging team.ResponsibilitiesYour Impact:
  • Operate as the point of contact for the staging department; assist warehouse supervisors and learn the management of recycling, cycle counting and finish goods stocking.
  • Assist with implementations of lean inventory strategy and policies such as velocity warehouse rearrangement,
  • Prioritize and process work orders / bill of materials to be pulled by staging.
  • Ensure proper pulling, labeling, and transfer of staged material between warehouses.
  • Coordinate with multiple warehouses and production department to ensure timely flow of material between areas
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
  • Identify and develop training opportunities and process improvements.
  • Research and resolve inventory transaction errors; identify areas creating shrink within the inventory department.
  • Monitor and execute on all rework, deviations, and CCRs (Customer Change Requests)
  • Track key measurements and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) for staging department.
  • Managing employee’s daily outputs.
  • Assist with performance reviews.
  • Maintain and track employee daily schedules.
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisor with day-to-day functions within the inventory department
  • Other duties as manager assigns.
Required SkillsWhat You Bring:
  • HS diploma or similar is required. Bachelor’s degree in applicable field is a plus.
  • 2+ year experience as a lead within the inventory department
