Job description

Inventory Associate I

Location: Orlando, FL 32832
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

We are seeking an Inventory Associate I to join our team in Orlando, FL. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, tracking, packaging, and moving inventory throughout a busy fulfillment and manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations, inventory, receiving, shipping, material handling, or fulfillment and is comfortable working with inventory systems and material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments from carriers
  • Inspect shipments and verify materials according to established procedures
  • Perform inventory counts, audits, and quality control checks
  • Complete receiving documentation and accurately enter inventory information into computer systems
  • Pick, kit, pack, sort, stage, label, and store parts and materials
  • Properly package and protect parts throughout the fulfillment process
  • Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and turret trucks
  • Safely move parts, boxes, crates, and other materials throughout the facility
  • Maintain accurate identification and labeling of parts
  • Follow standard operating procedures for receiving, storage, inventory, and fulfillment
  • Identify and communicate issues that could create downstream quality or production problems
  • Support problem-solving and root-cause analysis when issues arise
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of fulfillment center, warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience
  • Experience with receiving and inventory functions
  • Previous forklift experience or willingness to operate a forklift after training
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with inventory counting, auditing, receiving, shipping, picking, kitting, or packing
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow written procedures and work in a structured environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Experience

  • Aerospace, aviation, automotive, or manufacturing warehouse experience
  • Experience working with parts or components
  • Experience with inventory management systems, WMS, ERP, or similar systems
  • Certified forklift experience
  • Experience working from Bills of Material (BOMs)

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
