Indotronix is seeking an :Production/Inventory Coordinator A, Layton, UT


Type & Duration: 12+ months of contract
First Shift: 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM

Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for processing and moving production materials into and out of storage, production, and warehouse locations to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures material availability, monitors work in process, and supports production schedules through effective material handling and inventory management activities.

Responsibilities

  • Process and move production and other materials following standard work instructions

  • Support material flow between storage, warehouse, and production locations

  • Monitor work in process and material availability

  • Communicate status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods

  • Identify and resolve limited-scope material discrepancies using established procedures

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and expedite production activities

  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes

  • Support inventory accuracy, accountability, and warehouse organization

  • Maintain compliance with safety and operational procedures

  • Work under general supervision in a 100% onsite environment on 1st shift

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience in shipping and receiving operations

  • Experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or customer service environments

  • Experience in Materials Management or warehouse operations

  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or related material handling equipment

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds frequently during an 8-hour shift

  • Experience with warehouse inventory processes including parts accuracy and accountability

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience using inventory control software

  • Experience with kitting and cycle-counting activities

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma/GED and related warehouse, shipping, manufacturing, or materials management experience.
