Job description

Lohmiller & Company dba Carrier West is a leading HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) distributor in the Rocky Mountain region for over 30 years.  We partner with the contractors, engineers and developers to provide comfort solutions for buildings and structures of all types and sizes. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cycle counts of inventory.
  • Research and address variances, adjusting as needed.
  • Ensure accurate bin locations and inventory levels.
  • Organize and maintain inventory for efficient picking and put-away.
  • Assist warehouse personnel across branches in locating items and resolving inventory issues.
  • Monitor and process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) following company policy.
  • Handle scratch and dent inventory promptly.
  • Review security camera footage to investigate inventory errors and security concerns.
  • Review inventory discrepancies, zero/short picks, and inventory adjustments.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and cherry pickers.
  • Ability to read and interpret various reports to identify action items.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Data entry proficiency.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and applications.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  • Excel and Outlook proficiency.
  • Experience with WMS and ERP systems (Latitude Knowledge Preferred).
  • Ability to read and understand item numbers and bin locations.
  • Effective teamwork and multitasking abilities.

Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with receiving and shipping operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles.
  • Emphasis on bin accuracy and overall inventory accuracy.
  • Experience with inventory reconciliation.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows applications and computer literacy.

Compensation is $22-$24 an hour, depending on experience.
