Job description

As an Inventory Control Assistant here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the efficient flow of materials within our operations. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help ensure that inventory levels are optimized to meet production and customer demands.

You will report directly to our Inventory Manager and you'll work out of our Arvada, CO location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of the supply chain by ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting procurement and production planning, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday or 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
  • Maintain and update accurate inventory records to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and coordinating with procurement and production teams to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Support inventory audits and cycle counts to verify physical inventory against system records.
  • Identify discrepancies and work with relevant departments to resolve inventory issues promptly.
  • Contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing inventory management efficiency and accuracy.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • 3+ years of inventory management principles and practices (cycle counting and stock reconciliation.) experieince 
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems to maintain accurate data and generate reports.
WE VALUE
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control or materials management.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems and experience with inventory optimization techniques.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies, supporting timely resolution.
  • Familiarity with material handling and warehouse operations to coordinate effectively with logistics teams.
