Job description

Job Description 

PCI is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Local Delivery Driver for its Spokane 554 operations based in Spokane, WA.

  • Typical 40hour work week, Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-3:30PM with occasional overtime opportunity
  • Home every night
  • Loading and unloading trucks with equipment and materials
  • Driving from our local warehouse to various local vendors and local jobsites in company provided pick-up trucks (3/4-ton max)
  • Handling of inventory, materials, tools and equipment in both our warehouse and on project sites (training will be provided)
  • Inspect and review all incoming and outgoing tools & equipment for proper use and or defects.
  • General warehouse maintenance (keeping area safe, clean, and organized)
  • General knowledge and use of (warehouse) hand tools, power tools and safety equipment (training will be provided)
  • This position is safety-sensitive

Wage

  • This position pay range is $22/hr.-$24/hour (DOE) plus Overtime and Bonus Incentive potential.
  • Additional certifications and training provided by employer.
  • Regular pay evaluation offers opportunities for improvement after starting.

Basic Requirements

  • 2 years of previous experience operating a motor vehicle for professional purposes
  • Must have valid state driver's license
  • Must demonstrate safe driving habits and driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Able to sustain prolonged periods standing and working outside
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks
  • Maintains consistent punctuality when arriving for scheduled work hours
  • Ability to communicate thoroughly and effectively

Preferred Requirements

  • Demonstrates proactive initiative; takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities
  • DOT driver physical/compliance (non-CDL) preferred, can be trained
  • CDL not required, CDL incentive pay potential, can be trained
  • Forklift operating experience preferred, can be trained
  • Construction industry knowledge preferred
  • Local to the Spokane area preferred
