We are currently seeking a strategic and experienced leader for the following role:

Position: Supply Chain Director- USMCA
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Position Overview

The Supply Chain Director โ€“ USMCA will lead and optimize supply chain operations across the United States and Mexico. This role is responsible for developing integrated strategies, driving operational excellence, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while delivering strong financial and service performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a unified supply chain strategy across U.S. and Mexico operations

  • Manage departmental budgets to ensure cost efficiency and financial performance

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders

  • Act as a key liaison between U.S. and Mexico teams to ensure alignment and consistency

  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing supply chain teams

  • Represent the organization internally and externally, promoting strategic initiatives and capabilities

Procurement amp; Vendor Management
  • Oversee purchasing operations and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regional regulations

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize value and performance

  • Evaluate supplier performance and develop new sourcing strategies as needed

  • Monitor inbound freight costs and implement cost-reduction initiatives

Logistics amp; Material Flow
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics across North America

  • Optimize transportation, freight modes, and cross-border processes

  • Ensure on-time, in-full delivery to customers in both countries

  • Drive improvements in lead time, delivery performance, and logistics efficiency

Inventory amp; Asset Management
  • Implement inventory strategies to balance working capital and service levels

  • Reduce excess and obsolete inventory while maintaining high fulfillment rates

  • Oversee warehouse operations, space utilization, and compliance standards

  • Enhance cross-border inventory visibility and reporting

Performance amp; Reporting
  • Establish and track KPIs across supply chain functions

  • Provide regular reporting on costs, supplier performance, and inventory accuracy

  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency and integration

Collaboration amp; Compliance
  • Partner with global teams, including headquarters in Germany

  • Support Quality and Environmental Management Systems

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and sustainability efforts


Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)

  • 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including 3+ years in leadership

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Proven track record of cost reduction and operational improvement

  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
