The Warehouse Worker will receive all materials according to Standex policy. To maintain accurate inventory in the Warehouse.
What You'll Do
  • Ensure Standex receiving policies are followed with regards to received products to maintain consistency and accuracy
  • Verify kits by examining order and contents of kit to ensure accuracy
  • Verify received material by comparing packing slip and order shipped to ensure accuracy of the packing slip
  • Stock office supplies and raw materials to ensure no shortages of supplies occur
  • Maintain accurate inventory count by tracking all outgoing and incoming material to ensure that no shortages occur in production materials
  • Receive all warehouse materials by checking delivery to ensure accuracy of order and to check for damaged material in the order
  • Place all materials in their proper place by locating material number or bin to maintain accurate inventory of all materials
  • Accurately assemble kits for prep assembly by utilizing picklist, material requisition, or shop order
  • Operate Wave machine to facilitate placement/gathering for materials
  • Ensure security of warehouse by not permitting any unauthorized personnel unless accompanied by warehouse supervisor or manager
  • Provide materials to personnel at service counter by receiving order and accurately filling the order
  • Assist with deliveries
  • Maintain warehouse area by cleaning and organizing to facilitate location of materials when needed
  • Report safety hazards to supervisor and/or safety officer immediately
  • Warehouse is secured/locked (all exterior doors) at the end of every day
  • Follow policies and procedures utilized by the Company and Department to ensure the efficient running of the department and customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned
