Your Typical Shift
You're onsite at the Wenatchee plant by 7:00am, checking updates from Operations and the warehouse floor. Most of the day is spent moving between the desk and team touchpoints-confirming what changed overnight, keeping schedules current, and making sure records match what's happening in real time. You'll spend focused blocks on the computer updating trackers and documents, then pivot to quick questions with Warehouse, HR, or Logistics to clear up details before they become problems. By late afternoon, you've closed out the day's paperwork, verified key entries, and left the next shift with clean, reliable information.
What You'll Handle
Administrative Support, Relief provides day-to-day administrative coverage for Wenatchee Plant Operations, with emphasis on warehouse/inventory/purchasing support and personnel scheduling. This role exists to keep information accurate, paperwork moving, and schedules aligned across teams.
Key responsibilities include data entry, filing, coordinating shipping/receiving and production schedules, tracking incoming/outgoing fruit, and checking information systems for accuracy. You'll work closely with Warehouse, Operations, and Human Resources on fruit lifecycle tracking, production planning, invoicing/purchasing, and safety/training documentation.
Required qualifications/skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in a general office setting
- Strong written communication; accurate spelling/grammar/punctuation
- Ability to organize work, set priorities, and adjust to changing needs
- Computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets)
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Food Defense, allergens, and safety preferred
