Job description

Warehouse Associate

Full-Time | Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM | Sunrise, FL | Tropic Supply, Inc.

This is a hands-on, physical warehouse role inside one of Florida's largest independent HVAC and refrigeration distribution operations. You are not just moving product. You are the backbone of accuracy and efficiency that keeps 23 locations and the contractors who depend on them running without interruption.

We have been independently owned and operated for more than 50 years because we do things right. We need warehouse professionals who hold that same standard.

What You Will Do

You keep product moving accurately and on time. That means pulling and filling orders with precision, receiving and stocking incoming inventory, and verifying parts, serial numbers, and paperwork against physical inventory at every step. You support cycle counts and inventory integrity, operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, assist counter sales with order fulfillment, help customers load product when needed, and keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating to standard.

Attention to detail is not optional here. Errors in a distribution environment have real consequences downstream for contractors, technicians, and the customers we serve. We hold accuracy to a high standard and expect you to own it.

What You Must Bring
  • Demonstrated warehouse experience in a distribution, supply, or logistics environment
  • Experience with RF scanning equipment, warehouse management systems, and basic computer operations
  • Sit-down forklift certification or documented hands-on experience, with ability to obtain certification
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds consistently throughout a shift and sustain physical activity in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a track record of order and inventory accuracy
  • Organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities without losing precision under volume or pressure
  • Clear communication and a reliable work ethic with no need for constant supervision
Who Fits This Role

You understand that a wrong pull or a missed serial number creates a real problem for someone downstream, and that matters to you. You follow process correctly, ask when you are unsure rather than guess, and take pride in doing the physical work well and accurately. You show up ready, you stay accountable, and you contribute to a team that depends on you.

What Tropic Supply Offers
  • Company-paid employee medical and life insurance
  • Optional dental and vision coverage
  • Voluntary short-term and long-term disability
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Employee discount programs
  • A stable, long-standing company where performance is recognized, and tenure is respected

Tropic Supply, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug-Free Workplace.
