Description

 Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to support the cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and overall upkeep of our Atlanta campus. This position performs routine custodial duties across office, warehouse, production, restroom, and breakroom areas while helping maintain a clean and professional environment for employees and visitors.

The Facilities Technician must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently while consistently meeting established cleaning and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. 
  • Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, warehouse bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas. 
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces to maintain sanitation and hygiene standards. 
  • Restock restroom and breakroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. 
  • Remove trash, debris, and scrap materials from facility and production areas as directed. 
  • Complete assigned custodial tasks within established schedules and quality standards. 
  • Monitor assigned areas throughout the shift to ensure they remain clean, sanitary, and properly stocked. 
  • Properly handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines, OSHA requirements, and Safety Data Sheets. 
  • Maintain custodial tools and equipment in clean, safe, and working condition. 
  • Promptly report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, and supply needs to management. 
  • Assist with cleaning and setup for meetings, safety training sessions, company events, and other activities. 
  • Follow all company safety, sanitation, and compliance policies and procedures. 
  • Perform additional facilities and custodial duties as assigned. 

Requirements

  •  High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Previous custodial, janitorial, facilities, or commercial cleaning experience strongly preferred. 
  • General knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, sanitation practices, and custodial equipment. 
  • Ability to follow cleaning instructions, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards. 
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in cleaning quality. 
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to manage assigned responsibilities independently. 
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to work safely in office, warehouse, production, and indoor or outdoor environments. 
  • Ability to work around cleaning chemicals, dust, debris, and varying temperatures. 
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends as needed.
