Respiratory Therapist

We continue to grow and look for amazing professionals to join our teams. In this role, you will support our Newport, Langley, and Walter Reed facilities.

Great opportunity to GROW WITH US! Traveling between facilities is a must.

Responsibilities of a Respiratory Therapist: Travel between facilities.

  • Perform chest examinations on a range of patients.

  • Consult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plans.

  • Provide detailed therapy, requiring significant independent judgment.

  • Perform exams and diagnostic tests measuring lung capacity and blood acidity/alkalinity.

  • Treat patients using oxygen or oxygen mixtures, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.

  • Connect patients to a ventilator.

  • Educate patients and families on how to use equipment and medications.

  • Regularly monitor both patients and equipment.

Qualifications for Respiratory Therapist: Travel between facilities.

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care

  • Current state licensure

  • Experience with Trach Care and Ventilator Management in a skilled nursing home, LTACH, or hospital setting

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with residents and families
