Job description

Walsworth-Fulton, a family-owned business founded in 1937, has grown from printing playbills and cookbooks in Marceline, Missouri to becoming one of the top three yearbook printers and magazine printers in the industry. For over 87 years, we have remained committed to providing exceptional printing services with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. 

At Walsworth, our team is the heart of our business, and we are currently looking for a Press - Bundler to join our team! As a Press - Bundler, you are responsible for monitoring signatures for errors, taking signatures off the web, stacking and palletizing signatures to ensure there is no damage. You will ensure that printed materials are accurately sorted, bundled, and prepared for bindery to take over the job specifications. You are expected to assist operators with various tasks to facilitate the printing process. Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment will contribute to the successful completion of job orders.

Essential Functions: 

  • Learn to read and understand job tickets. 
  • Assists with set-up and make-ready procedures as needed. 
  • Manages materials and supplies needed for the job. 
  • Checks stacker for proper building, gusseting, and check signatures for marking during run. 
  • Sets the stacker to the correct settings to create neat bales. 
  • Ensure all Auto-Count printouts are correct and accurate. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic proficiency in math and measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and understand English in written and verbal instructions. 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform frequent light to moderate bending and walking.
