Job description

Position Summary...As a Social Sales Specialist at Walmart Connect, you have the exciting opportunity to be part of the retail media trend at the largest retailer in the world! It's your opportunity to bring to life full-funnel performant advertising solutions for brands across categories you will manage. You will be a consultative sales partner to your clients, Merchandising partners, and Marketing support to grow your client’s business and drive revenue at Walmart.
You will drive client meetings with a particular focus on providing expertise for our social ad products. Your primary goal will be increasing adoption of our ad products by acting as a connective tissue between Walmart Connect teams (Sales and Product) and our advertisers. You will have the opportunity to make an impact at a senior stakeholder level as a member of cross-functional teams.

  • Become an expert in the unique value proposition of Walmart Connect’s social media advertising offerings through deep partnership with Product and Sales teams.
  • Use your experience to drive customer engagements focused on our social media value proposition.
  • Reach and strive to exceed sales quotas while contributing to our team goals.
  • Manage a variety of advertiser accounts.
  • Travel to client meetings and collaborate with colleagues onsite in one of our Walmart Connect office locations.
What you'll bring...
  • Natural curiosity and dedication to getting answers to questions, especially through data interpretation 
  • Passion for digital advertising, building fruitful partnerships, and becoming an expert in the wide world of Walmart Merchandising
  • An ability to quickly build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external
  • 8+ years of experience in digital sales with at least 3 years of experience in social sales
  • A proven track record of leveraging data to create performance insights, compelling presentations, create programs for brands to connect with consumers and identify sales opportunities 
  • An ability to prioritize effectively across a broad spectrum of initiatives
  • A team-first mindset, with a desire to bring your cross-functional colleagues along for the ride 
Minimum Qualifications...
  • Experience in advertising sales, including social media ad sales
  • Experience managing internal and external relationships
  • Experience in retail media
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, strong attention to detail, and diligent follow-through
Preferred Qualifications...
  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Advertising, or related area
  • Management experience
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 advertisers, agencies, and clients

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

5 years’ experience managing client accounts.
