The (USA) Director, Product Management leads the development and execution of comprehensive product strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to drive effective decision-making and customer-focused solutions. This role oversees product roadmaps, mentors teams, and fosters collaboration across stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery. The director champions innovation by integrating emerging technologies and industry best practices while optimizing processes to enhance product value. With a strong emphasis on communication and leadership, this position advances business objectives through strategic planning, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
About the team:
The Walmart Inventory and Replenishment Product Management team drives the development of advanced planning and forecasting solutions using machine learning and statistical modeling. This team oversees the inventory planning ecosystem across omni-channel networks, focusing on forecasting, inventory placement, targets, and item lifecycle management. By optimizing inventory positioning and safety stock, the team enhances operational efficiency. Members demonstrate strong ownership, data-driven decision making, and collaborate closely with engineering and business partners. They lead product strategy, execution, and continuous improvement to support Walmart’s supply chain excellence and innovation.
What you'll do:
  • Lead development and ownership of complex product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to guide product decisions and optimize feature performance.
  • Drive customer-centric strategies by identifying needs, mapping journeys, and implementing scalable processes.
  • Mentor and coach team members on product management best practices and roadmap development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to influence resource allocation and secure alignment for product initiatives.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including MVP creation, go-to-market strategies, and scaling.
  • Promote adoption of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance product innovation.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management in complex environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision making, including analytics tools and insight extraction to inform product direction.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, journey mapping, and process optimization to enhance product value.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities to build consensus and align resources.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, MVP creation, and modern product development practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
