Job Description

This role will work at our Brand New Central Fill facility location at 3176 North Drury Lane, Springfield, Missouri 65802.

Join our new Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy team! Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region.  Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies with the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.

What you'll do

  • Receive, organize, and ship pharmacy products

  • Process inventory using handheld scanners and computer systems

  • Pack and label prescriptions accurately for shipment

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and quality standards

  • Move and lift products up to 50 lbs.

  • Work safely in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

What you'll bring

  • At least 18 years old

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred

  • Comfortable using scanners and basic computer applications

  • Able to stand, lift, and work 10-hour shifts


Additional Information

Schedule/Availability
4-day workweek consisting of four 10-hour shifts. Sunday availability is required and candidates without Sunday availability will not be considered.

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (availability required between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

  • 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (availability required between 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)

Compensation

  • $18.00/hour

  • Second Shift Differential: additional $2.00/hr for the second shift schedule
