Overview
WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 500 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. Our organization places a high value on quality, caring and compassionate physicians and we are committed to providi ng state-of-the- art health care to our patients and the community we serve.
We are currently seeking a Pulmonology BC/BE physician with an interest in joining our growing group in Raleigh, NC. Our group provides comprehensive pulmonary care through multiple outpatient pulmonary clinics as well as an inpatient pulmonary consult service across the WakeMed Hospital system. We are supported by an interventional pulmonology service, sleep service, and lung cancer screening program. We are looking for a principally outpatient Pulmonologist to join our growing team. Experience and interest in clinical teaching is beneficial as the position may include clinical supervision of advance practice providers or internal medical residents.
The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APP's within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices and WakeMed.
