Job description

Summary:
We are seeking a full-time generalist obstetrician and gynecologist to provide full-scope OB/GYN outpatient services at the High Desert Regional Health Center in Lancaster, CA. Candidates should have experience with prenatal care, surgical consultations, and office-based procedures such as colposcopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsies. While primarily outpatient, this position offers the opportunity to dedicate up to 40% of time to hospital-based services in Department of Health Services, which may include supervising residents in clinic, L&D coverage and/or gynecologic OR time. The candidate will work collaboratively with two full-time Nurse Practitioners and provide consultation and decision support when needed. Other qualifications of strong candidates include: Spanish language fluency, and experience working in safety net health systems.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program

  • ABOG board-certified or board-eligible

  • Active or ability to obtain a California state medical license

  • Individuals who will contribute to an academic, energetic, and creative multi-disciplinary faculty

Compensation and Benefits:
