Job description


Bartender Responsibilities:

The Bartender is responsible for ensuring compliance with age verification laws and delivering outstanding customer service to create a memorable experience. The Bartender will craft beverages tailored to customersโ€™ preference while maintaining a clean and well-organized bar. The Bartender reports directly to the General Manager.

Bartender duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and providing efficient food and beverages service
  • Ensuring the bar and surrounding floor areas are clean, organized and fully stocked
  • Washing and sanitizing all glassware
  • Accurately tracking all beverages and handling cash transactions properly
  • Greeting guests promptly and taking drink and food orders
  • Offering menu recommendations to guests
  • Ensuring accurate processing of guestsโ€™ orders and special requests
  • Waiting on tables on the floor, taking orders, and serving food and drinks efficiently
  • Assisting with clearing and resetting tables after guests leave
  • Keeping the dining area and floor clean, including wiping down surfaces and ensuring the cleanliness of walkways and seating areas

Experience/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time, up to 10 hours at a time
  • Ability to cross-train and work in different departments
  • Ability to obtain Liquor License and complete required server training

Hours:

The Bartender is either full time or part time position and hours will vary

Salary/Income:

The Bartender is a non-exempt, hourly position
