Job description

Basic Function

Responsible for the procurement of standing timber for the assigned company sawmill(s).

Responsibilities
    1.Purchase standing timber for the assigned company sawmill(s).
    2.Maintain records of all contacts with landowners in company database.
    3.Assist with sale of logs not being used in Pike sawmills.
    4.Performs related work as required as directed by their supervisor.

Physical Requirements for Work Comp Light Duty

    1.Be able to walk over hilly, rough terrain for an entire day (8+ hours).
    2.Be able to climb, squat, stoop and twist to maneuver through the woods and obstacles such as downed trees.
    3.Be able to push or pull logs or other debris out of way.
    4.Be able to drive for 5 or more hours.
