As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the accurate movement, storage, and shipment of parts and materials throughout the warehouse. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming materials and products.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems to complete transactions.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.
- Stage materials for outbound shipments and internal transfers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory systems.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and climb as needed.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
