Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. What You'll Do

  • Lead ModelBased Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts for largescale, multidisciplinary hardwarecentric systems
  • Drive requirements using the RFLoP framework (Requirements Functional Logical Physical) to ensure traceability and scalability
  • Develop and maintain SysML models and artifacts, including hierarchies, state machines, activity diagrams, and allocations
  • Translate systemlevel architectures into clear, executable subsystem specifications
  • Support the full systems engineering Vmodel, from requirements decomposition through verification and validation
  • Perform systemlevel modeling, simulation, and develop trade studies to guide technical decisions
  • Lead and contribute to design reviews, DFx coordination, and certification activities, partnering closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams

What Sets You Up for Success

  • Experience with MBSE and ModelBased Design (MBD) in sophisticated product environments
  • Solid understanding of PLM / PLC tools and processes
  • Practical experience using AIenabled tools to accelerate systems engineering, modeling, or analysis workflows

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a (MBSE) ModelBased Systems Engineering role
  • Strong command of SysML and tools such as Cameo or MATLAB System Composer
  • Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis tools including MATLAB, Python, R, JMP, Arena, or similar
  • Proven track record to collaborate effectively across hardware, software, and manufacturing organizations

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 3 years and a Masters degree; or equivalent work experince.
