About the Job

(Job Summary)

The Marketing Coordinator – Retail supports the planning, coordination, and execution of key marketing programs for the shopping center, with a focus on digital marketing, retail engagement, customer experience, and property initiatives. Reporting to the SVP, Marketing, Sponsorship and Retail, this role will assist with the VIP program, stylist program, tourism program, digital platforms, retailer communications, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, digitally savvy, brand-minded, and comfortable supporting multiple priorities across internal teams, retailers, partners, vendors, and agencies.

What You Do:

(Duties/Responsibilities)

Marketing Coordination & Program Support

  • Assist with the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives that support retail engagement, customer acquisition, traffic, and brand awareness for the shopping center
  • Maintain timelines, organize deliverables, and support cross-functional coordination for key marketing initiatives across digital, retail, VIP, stylist, and tourism programs
  • Work with internal stakeholders, retailers, agencies, and vendors to help ensure programs are executed on time, on brand, and aligned with business priorities

VIP Program Management

  • Assist with the ongoing administration and growth of the VIP program, including member engagement, communications, benefits, and retailer participation
  • Maintain accurate program data and help track performance, customer engagement, participation trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with retailers, concierge teams, and internal partners to strengthen the VIP experience and ensure a high level of service and brand consistency

Digital Marketing & Online Presence

  • Support updates across the shopping center website, digital directories, digital screens, Google Business profiles, property listings, and other customer-facing digital platforms
  • Coordinate digital marketing campaign updates, website content, retailer promotions, email communications, and online customer touchpoints to ensure information is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand standards
  • Monitor digital performance, customer engagement, and online visibility to identify opportunities to improve the digital customer experience

Retailer Engagement & Communications

  • Serve as a support contact for retailers, assisting with promotion submissions, content needs, program participation, and timely communication of marketing opportunities
  • Partner with leasing, operations, concierge, and marketing teams to ensure retailer initiatives are represented accurately across digital and customer-facing channels
  • Maintain strong retailer relationships and help identify opportunities to highlight retail tenants through digital, VIP, stylist, and tourism-focused initiatives

Stylist Program Support

  • Support the development, coordination, and growth of the stylist program, including stylist relationships, retailer participation, and program communications
  • Track program activity, engagement, and retailer feedback to help evaluate performance and identify opportunities for continued growth

Tourism Program Support

  • Support tourism marketing initiatives that position the shopping center as a destination for domestic and international visitors
  • Coordinate with tourism partners, hotels, destination marketing organizations, retailers, and internal teams to support program visibility and guest engagement
  • Assist with tracking tourism-related activity, partner opportunities, customer insights, and program performance to help inform future strategy

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with leasing, operations, concierge, finance, marketing, retailers, vendors, freelancers, agencies, and tourism partners to support strategic marketing priorities
  • Facilitate clear communication across teams to ensure alignment, timely execution, and a consistent customer experience
  • Support vendor and agency coordination, including timelines, deliverables, approvals, and follow-ups

Content & Brand Communications

  • Coordinate content for digital campaigns, website updates, retailer promotions, email marketing, tourism initiatives, VIP communications, and stylist program materials
  • Ensure all marketing communications are consistent with the shopping center’s brand voice, customer experience standards, and business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams, retailers, agencies, and creative partners to support the development of marketing materials and campaign assets

Reporting, Analytics & Budget Coordination

  • Track and organize performance data related to digital marketing, VIP engagement, stylist program activity, tourism initiatives, retailer participation, traffic insights, and key business metrics
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and program recaps that summarize performance, insights, and recommended next steps
  • Support budget tracking, invoice processing, purchase orders, and spend management to ensure accuracy and alignment with approved budgets

Documentation & Asset Management

  • Maintain organized records of property profiles, access credentials, trademarks, retailer assets, tourism materials, program documentation, and marketing assets
  • Track vendor contacts, agency resources, partner information, and key program details to ensure documentation is current and accessible
  • Support overall project documentation, digital asset organization, and file management practices

What You Bring to the Table:

(Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, Retail, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, retail marketing, hospitality, tourism, shopping center marketing, or lifestyle brand marketing
  • Experience supporting digital marketing platforms, website updates, email marketing, online listings, and customer-facing digital content preferred
  • Working knowledge of retail marketing, customer engagement, loyalty/VIP programming, and brand communications preferred
  • Strong organization and coordination skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with retailers, vendors, agencies, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Comfort reviewing performance data, preparing recaps, and identifying opportunities to improve marketing programs and customer engagement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with marketing platforms, content management systems, email marketing tools, and social/digital platforms preferred
