About Noble Steakhouse

Noble Steakhouse is an elevated fine-dining steakhouse concept preparing to open its flagship location in Denver, Colorado. We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Operations to take executive-level ownership of the opening, operation, profitability, and future expansion of the Noble Steakhouse concept.

This is a unique opportunity to join a new restaurant concept at its beginning and directly influence how the brand operates, leads, serves its guests, develops its people, and grows.

The Vice President of Operations will initially be deeply involved in the flagship restaurant. This is a hands-on operating position, particularly during pre-opening, training, launch, and stabilization. As Noble Steakhouse successfully establishes itself, this individual will be responsible for helping lead the development and operational execution of future Noble Steakhouse locations.

Position Overview

The Vice President of Operations will have executive responsibility for the operational and financial success of Noble Steakhouse. This leader will oversee all aspects of the business while developing the people, systems, standards, financial controls, and operating infrastructure necessary to build Noble Steakhouse into a successful and scalable fine-dining concept.

The successful candidate must combine executive-level business and financial acumen with a genuine willingness to work alongside the restaurant team. We are seeking an operator who understands that exceptional restaurants are built through presence, accountability, attention to detail, financial discipline, and exceptional hospitality.

This role requires substantial fine-dining and steakhouse leadership experience and a demonstrated history of operating successful, profitable restaurant businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Assume executive operational ownership of Noble Steakhouse and its overall performance.

Lead the pre-opening strategy, preparation, training, opening, stabilization, and ongoing operation of the flagship Noble Steakhouse.

Work directly and hands-on with restaurant leadership and employees to establish the culture and operating standards of the concept.

Oversee and develop restaurant leadership while establishing clear accountability throughout the organization.

Own the financial performance of Noble Steakhouse, including revenue, profitability, labor, cost of goods, operating expenses, budgets, forecasts, and other key performance indicators.

Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, control costs, and achieve sustainable profitability without compromising the guest experience.

Review financial and operational performance regularly and establish clear action plans to address opportunities or underperformance.

Establish world-class fine-dining hospitality, service, food, beverage, and guest-experience standards.

Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure alignment between front-of-house execution, culinary operations, labor management, product quality, and financial objectives.

Oversee organizational structure, leadership development, recruiting, training, retention, performance management, and succession planning.

Establish and refine operating systems, policies, procedures, training programs, reporting structures, and accountability measures.

Ensure Noble Steakhouse maintains exceptional standards for service, atmosphere, cleanliness, facility condition, food and beverage execution, and overall guest experience.

Provide strategic oversight of purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, cost controls, and operational efficiencies.

Partner with ownership and other key stakeholders regarding strategy, performance, growth, capital needs, and long-term planning.

Collaborate effectively with marketing, finance, HR, culinary, beverage, and other support functions.

Ensure compliance with applicable employment, health, safety, liquor, and operational requirements.

Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, strengthen the guest experience, and enhance operational performance.

Build systems and operating standards that can be successfully replicated as Noble Steakhouse expands.

Lead or oversee operational planning, hiring, training, opening, and stabilization of future Noble Steakhouse locations.

Develop future Noble Steakhouse operating leaders capable of maintaining the concept's standards as the brand grows.

Take on additional strategic and operational responsibilities necessary to successfully operate and expand Noble Steakhouse.

Qualifications

Extensive senior restaurant leadership experience in fine dining is required.

Significant steakhouse leadership experience is required.

Proven success operating premium, high-volume, and financially successful restaurant businesses.

Previous experience at the Director of Operations, Vice President, Regional Vice President, Managing Partner, multi-unit operator, or comparable senior leadership level strongly preferred.

New restaurant opening experience is strongly preferred; experience opening and scaling multiple locations is highly desirable.

Demonstrated command of restaurant financial management, including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, cost controls, margin improvement, and profitability.

Deep understanding of luxury or elevated hospitality and the expectations of a sophisticated fine-dining guest.

Proven ability to recruit, develop, inspire, and retain exceptional restaurant leaders and teams.

Ability to think strategically while remaining willing to personally engage in day-to-day operations when necessary.

Strong business judgment, communication skills, organizational ability, and executive presence.

Demonstrated ability to establish accountability and performance standards while maintaining a positive, hospitality-driven culture.

Ability and willingness to work a schedule appropriate for an executive restaurant operator, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods when required.

Ability and willingness to travel as necessary for future Noble Steakhouse locations and openings.
