Job description

Regional Vice President of Sales

SUMMARY

The Regional Vice President of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability across an assigned geographic region. This role focuses on identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing and inactive accounts. The Regional Vice President leads regional sales strategy, partners closely with field leadership, and ensures revenue objectives are achieved through disciplined planning, execution, and relationship development.

This position requires approximately 20% travel. Experience in a multi-branch or multi-location organization is highly preferred.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for at least 30 targeted accounts in collaboration with leadership.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, presentations, and relationship development.
  • Partner with branch leadership and field teams to coordinate sales activities, including client calls, presentations, proposals, and meetings.
  • Serve as the primary sales lead for designated accounts, developing customized account strategies and maintaining consistent communication with branch teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
  • Support branch teams by providing sales expertise, assisting with customized workforce solutions, and strengthening local sales initiatives.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company strategy and profitability objectives.
  • Collaborate with branch and corporate teams to expand product knowledge and ensure successful solution implementation.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline progress, and client interactions within the CRM system.
  • Represent the organization at community events, industry functions, and networking opportunities to build brand presence and generate new leads.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and marketing materials as required.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support successful regional operations.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or equivalent business experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven outside sales experience, preferably in consultative or solution-based selling.
  • Experience selling within multi-branch or multi-location organizations strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet-based research tools.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a relationship-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Proven leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • High level of initiative, adaptability, and creativity in managing changing priorities.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client partnerships.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to support client engagements and regional initiatives.
