Vice President, Clinical Operations - Hybrid - California


We are partnered with a specialized medical device company seeking an experienced Vice President, Clinical Operations to join its executive leadership team.


The VP, Clinical Operations will provide strategic leadership across the clinical development portfolio, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical studies while ensuring alignment with regulatory, development, and commercialization objectives.


What You'll Do

  • Lead the company's clinical operations strategy and execution across all clinical programs.
  • Oversee clinical studies from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget objectives are met.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing clinical operations team.
  • Manage CROs, vendors, investigators, and study site relationships.
  • Drive key clinical milestones supporting regulatory submissions and product commercialization.
  • Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Biostatistics, Data Management, and Quality to ensure cross-functional alignment.


What We're Looking For

  • B.S. degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of clinical research or clinical operations experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
  • Medical device and/or diagnostics experience required.
  • Proven experience leading complex clinical programs and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with medical imaging, digital health, or innovative healthcare technologies is a plus.
