ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Participate as collaborative, key member of the Executive team to ensure business success.
• Develop and maintain the overall hotel revenue maximization plan for the property.
• Provide regular updates to GM and rest of executive team as appropriate.
• Develop and implement regional and national revenue-generating strategic initiatives.
• Build and grow the sales team through hiring and development.
• Provide visible leadership and communications to the sales organization.
• Drive results through the hotel sales teams by ensuring sales goals, targets, and forecasts are met.
• Set appropriate metrics for sales pipeline management and measure the sales team on metrics relevant to outcomes.
• Oversees the annual business planning for the property as well as the revenue generation portion.
• Build and maintain relationships with brand leadership to ensure Grand Sierra Resort is able to maximize brand value.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 7 years' sales and marketing management experience or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field is required.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
• Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting and standing and occasionally walking during the duration of their shift.
• Must be able to push/pull 25lbs or less.
• The team member will occasionally have repetitive use of both hands.
