Job description

The Regional Vice President will execute on the strategic goals and vision of the company. Specifically, the role is responsible for revenue growth for the assigned region. This is a highly diverse and visible role that requires the ability to set priorities, multi-task and work in an ever-changing environment. This role requires a high level of analytical, interpersonal and organization skills. Responsible for ensuring operations are within service level agreements. Position will hold regular 1:1 meetings with their direct reports, and ensure all managers are also conducting regular 1:1s with their employees. Position is ultimately responsible for Regional work product and employee performance. Responsible for hiring, developing, discipline and terminations.

This is a hybrid role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Position is responsible for meeting and exceeding market profit and revenue goals annually
  • Ultimate responsibility for Regional performance: must understand all positions within the Region and lead department employees to achieve performance goals
  • Responsible for management and growth of people, revenue and profits : hire, mentor and lead profit center managers
  • Ensures highest level of customer service is delivered to all clients; conduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports
  • Set Regional objectives, establish policy and procedures to assure compliance to best practices, state regulations and client service requirements
  • Work closely with managers to identify possible opportunities for improvement and how to continue to leverage existing efficiencies
  • Evaluate staff performance, set and review business objectives and staff goals
  • Position has a responsibility to grow market share through accountability for customer satisfaction and retention
  • Position is responsible for troubleshooting work-flows; point of contact for other escalations as needed
  • Position is responsible to maintain CorVel product line best practice standards and policies
  • Responsibility to demonstrate and promote the CorVel Mission , Vision and Values
  • Responsibility for the analysis of reporting and trending indicators and subsequent action plans
  • Interface with multiple product managers and internal CorVel business units
  • Focus on both process development and business and technical solutions
  • Develop clear communication channels and direction among cross-functional teams
  • Accounts Receivable - Responsible for all aspects of collections in conjunction with the respective operations management
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Must have significant industry experience and a deep understanding of CorVel’s proprietary systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated ability to provide superior service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with course concentration in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field; or 10+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience in a complex healthcare organization with significant project management expertise
  • MBA preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $141,216 - $235,386
