Job description

VP, Clinic Operations

Company: Serenity Healthcare

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (In-office), or Salt Lake City, UT

Travel: Approx. 50%, US

About Serenity

Serenity Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing multi-site specialty medical platforms in the country. Founder-led, ten years in market, 1,000+ employees, 40+ clinics across multiple states, and growing 100% year over year - without PE or venture capital.

We deliver advanced, in-office medical interventions including TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), IV ketamine, and medication management. Our patients come to us because nothing else has worked, and our model is built around moving them from consult to treatment with a high-trust, education-led approach.

We are scaling fast, hiring operators who have done it before, and building a leadership bench that will carry us through the next 40 clinics - and the 40 after that.

The Opportunity

The VP of Clinic Operations owns the performance of our national clinic footprint. You will lead a team of Regional Directors and be accountable for the operational growth and performance of every clinic in the network.

This is a builder's seat. You're not maintaining a system - you're tightening it, scaling it, and raising the bar across every region. You will be measured on hard numbers: patient retention, TMS conversion, clinic-level staffing health, and provider satisfaction. You will be expected to drive those numbers up, quarter over quarter, while we continue to open clinics at pace.

You will report directly to the COO and partner closely with the executive team on growth strategy, new market entry, and operational standards.

What You'll Own

  • Performance across 40+ clinics and a growing footprint
  • A team of Regional Directors, each managing a portfolio of clinics and supporting the clinic-level managers and staff underneath them
  • Standards and accountability - driving consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and playbooks at every site, in every region
  • The patient education model - coaching clinic teams on a consultative, education-first approach that converts appointments to treatment
  • KPI ownership across:
    • Patient retention
    • TMS conversion rate
    • Clinic staffing health and retention
    • Provider satisfaction and retention
  • Talent density - recruiting, developing, and retaining top-tier operators at the Regional Director and Clinic Manager level
  • New clinic ramp - partnering with the growth team to bring new sites to performance benchmarks on an accelerated timeline

What Success Looks Like

  • Every region is hitting or exceeding KPI targets, and underperforming sites are identified and corrected quickly
  • Regional Directors are running their territories with discipline, consistency, and a clear scorecard
  • Patient retention and opt in to key treatments, period over period
  • Clinic staff and provider turnover trend down
  • New clinics ramp faster than the prior cohort
  • The bench is deeper six months from now than it is today

Who You Are

  • 5+ years in a VP-level or higher multi-unit, multi-state operations role
  • Prior scope of at least 500 employees and 20+ locations under your direct ownership
  • A track record of taking a multi-site operation and making it measurably better - faster, leaner, more consistent, more profitable
  • Comfortable holding a high bar and holding people to it; not conflict-averse
  • Metrics-obsessed. You run your business off a scorecard and you expect your leaders to do the same
  • Strong recruiter of talent - people you've hired follow you
  • Comfortable with a consultative sales motion and coaching frontline teams to execute one
  • Willing to travel ~50% and work fully in-office in Atlanta or Phoenix

Backgrounds we're actively sourcing from: Multi-unit healthcare services (dermatology, med spa, fertility, concierge medicine, vision, urgent care, IV therapy, aesthetics), high-growth multi-site consumer services, specialty retail operations, or any multi-state operation with comparable scope and complexity.

Compensation & Benefits

  • 90% company-paid medical, dental, and vision for the employee and all dependents
  • 401(k)
  • 3 weeks PTO
  • 10 paid holidays
  • Annual company trip for the employee plus one

Serenity Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer.
