Job description

VP of Marketing

Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Reports To: Executive Leadership Team

About Serenity

Serenity Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing specialty healthcare platforms in the country, with 1,000+ employees and 40+ clinics across multiple states.

We provide advanced outpatient mental health treatments including TMS, ketamine therapy, and medication management, helping patients find relief when traditional approaches have failed.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a VP of Marketing to build and scale a world-class direct-to-consumer growth engine. This leader will be accountable for driving patient acquisition, improving conversion, diversifying lead sources, and building the systems, processes, and team necessary to support Serenity's continued expansion.

This is not a brand-only leadership role. We are looking for a hands‑on, performance-driven executive who understands how to use technology, automation, analytics, and AI to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with operational execution and takes ownership of measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own marketing performance and growth across all channels, with accountability for lead volume, lead quality, conversion rates, acquisition costs, and revenue impact.
  • Lead Serenity's direct-to-consumer marketing strategy across paid media, SEO, lifecycle marketing, local market activation, and emerging growth channels.
  • Build a diversified lead generation engine that reduces dependency on any single source and creates sustainable, scalable growth.
  • Drive marketing automation, CRM optimization, AI adoption, attribution, analytics, and reporting to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Partner closely with Operations and the Contact Center to optimize the patient acquisition funnel from first touch through treatment start.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high‑performing marketing team while fostering a culture of accountability, speed, resilience, testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear KPIs, reporting, and operating rhythms that connect marketing activity directly to business results.
  • Create repeatable growth playbooks that support new market launches and accelerate clinic performance.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in direct-to-consumer, performance-driven environments.
  • Proven success scaling lead generation and revenue growth across multiple channels and markets.
  • Deep expertise in paid search, paid social, SEO, conversion optimization, marketing automation, CRM platforms, analytics, and attribution.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and leveraging marketing technology, automation tools, and AI—not simply managing vendors or teams who do.
  • Strong track record of building teams, developing talent, and holding organizations accountable to measurable outcomes.
  • Experience in healthcare, multi-location services, consumer services, or other high-growth, high-consideration purchasing environments preferred.
  • Resilient, resourceful, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with ambitious growth expectations.

What Success Looks Like

  • Increased qualified patient demand.
  • Improved conversion rates and acquisition economics.
  • Diversified and scalable lead generation channels.
  • Strong adoption of automation, AI, and reporting systems.
  • High-performing, accountable marketing team.
  • Repeatable growth engine that supports Serenity's national expansion.

Serenity Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
