JOB TITLE: VP of Acquisition

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

THE BUSINESS

We Search People are happily working with a market-leading Real Estate investment & development company. They specialize in Mixed-use and Multifamily properties in and around the Atlanta area. They are driven with the purpose of changing people’s lives and are leading an ambitious strategy to make that happen. They are now on the hunt for a VP of Acquisitions who can lead and champion the life cycle of their acquisitions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify opportunities for land and lot acquisition.
  • Negotiate, acquire and entitle the land necessary to meet the company goals and projections.
  • Coordinate the activity of engineers, land planners, architects and GC’s.
  • Assess site viability and provide relevant information where necessary.
  • Work in collaboration with other team members to establish relationships with clients.
  • Complete initial financial projections and feasibility evaluation.
  • Assist in transition of new assets to property and asset management team.
KEY SKILLS
  • Proven experience in land acquisition and negotiation for multifamily or mixed‑use developments.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, underwriting, and feasibility analysis.
  • Ability to manage the full acquisition lifecycle from sourcing to closing.
  • Excellent knowledge of entitlement processes, zoning, and development regulations.
  • Skilled in relationship building with brokers, developers, municipalities, and investors.
