Search for the Vice President for Government Relations

Nova Southwestern University

Davie, Florida

Nova Southwestern University (NSU) seeks a strategic, creative, and collaborative leader to serve as its inaugural Vice President of Government Relations (VPGR). The Vice President will join the University during a period of unprecedented momentum and excitement and will help shape the institution’s next chapter. Reporting to University President Dr. Harry Moon and a member of the President’s Cabinet, the Vice President will deepen ties and further expand NSU’s impact regionally, nationally, and globally.

Nova Southwestern University (NSU) is Florida’s largest private research university and recently achieved Carnegie R1 status, reflecting its expanding research impact and national prominence. With more than 20,000 students, 220,000 alumni worldwide, and 11 colleges across multiple campuses and online programs, NSU is a leader in graduate and professional education. The university is Florida’s largest educator of physicians and produces more healthcare providers with terminal degrees than any other university in the nation. The ideal candidate brings an innovative mindset and thrives in building new capabilities, processes, and partnerships. This foundational role will strengthen NSU’s capacity to support its academic, research, clinical, and community‑serving missions while advancing long‑term institutional growth and impact.

NSU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
