This visionary and collaborative leader shapes and advances the regional strategy for multi-site fill plants, packaged gas distribution, and logistics, while stewarding P&L health through rigorous capital expenditure (CapEx) budgeting and asset utilization. By championing a proactive safety framework aligned with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and FDA regulations, the VP of Operations ensures strict compliance while cultivating advanced operational efficiencies, maximizing plant reliability, and building a high-performing, engaged workforce dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Strategy Development, Implementation & Execution

  • Operational Standardization: Continuous refinement of standard operating procedures to optimize compliance, minimize risk, and adapt to evolving industry standards.

Executive Leadership & Talent Development

Supply Chain, Quality & Customer Experience
  • End-to-End Gas Supply Chain: Lead all facets of the Gases Supply Chain, strategically coordinating distribution to plants and end-users.
  • Customer-Centric Standards: Enforce rigorous quality and delivery standards to ensure excellent order accuracy, product quality, and seamless fulfillment, while ensuring consistent satisfaction for both internal stakeholders and external commercial customers.

Are you a MATCH?
Required Qualifications
  • Ideally, you bring 10+ years of experience in the bulk and packaged gas industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a production environment within a chemical, gas, or related industry.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar enterprise software system. Intermediate proficiency operating within a Google Workspace environment is preferred.
  • Experience being entrusted with capital expenditure budgets, alongside coordinating capital allocations and applying standard financial principles.
  • Experience navigating and building alignment within union agreements, labor relations, and employment matters is preferred.
  • A strong familiarity or a deep understanding of the following areas: compliance with federal/state regulations, OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA, truck and trailer loading limits, cylinder markings, test dates, pressure ratings, ICC markings, placarding, hazardous material classifications, DOT driver qualifications and record keeping, vehicle purchasing and maintenance requirements, accident reporting, and overall safety and compliance.
  • Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma data-driven, fact-based methodologies to champion continuous improvement.
