Join LEHR - Build Vehicles That Support First Responders
LEHR is the nation's premier provider of mission-critical vehicle upfitting solutions, serving police, fire, utility, and other essential fleets. Our culture is built on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and we are looking for motivated individuals ready to grow with us.
If you enjoy building, wiring, repairing, or customizing vehicles, this is your opportunity to turn that passion into a career. We are seeking experienced Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installers to join our team.
Responsibilities:

  • Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
  • Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
  • Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
  • Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
  • Organize tools and inventory
  • Ability to track hours/job progress
Qualifications:
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Proven 12V experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be Punctual
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Starting pay $25 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday
6:00 AM 5:00 PM - some overtime required
No weekends
