FreshEdge is built on a united infrastructure of fresh food distributors collectively working to provide an unmatched assortment and service level across contiguous geographies via multiple locations and refrigerated facilities. We look forward to adding to our team and continuing our growth.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze foodservice trends and opportunities to grow with existing and emerging chain restaurants and institutional establishments in colleges, universities, healthcare, business feeders and hospitality
  • Develop sales strategy to target national and regional chain restaurants
  • Utilize and maintain an active and accurate pipeline and touchpoint record within FreshEdgeโ€™s CRM
  • Participate in and execute contracts and bids related to chain business
  • Collaborate with Opcos to determine their desired target lists of chain customers
  • Exceed goals and KPIโ€™s set for sales performance, sales effectiveness, and pipeline development
  • Collaborate with FreshEdge marketing functional area on developing specific POS materials for the customer segmentations identified above
  • Present core program strategies and findings to Chief Commercial Officer and EVPs of Business Performance on a monthly basis for publishing to all FreshEdge Opcos
  • Work with sales team(s) on customer educational processes on FreshEdge products and services
  • Continuously monitor customer needs and evolve products and services to meet those needs

  • Proficient PC skills in CRM and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems- Produce Pro, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and common E Mail systems
  • Proven experience selling fresh food products and services
  • Experience in managing relationships with key customers
  • Fresh foods and produce distribution experience

Physical Demands:

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Travel as needed

Compensation:

  • $130,000 - $170,000/Year +20% Bonus
