Job description

TheSenior Vice President, Digital Platforms LATAMis a senior product leader with extensive expertise in corporate Digital Platforms and a deep understanding of the Latin American market landscape, who drives the regional digital strategy and execution agenda within Services at Citi. Reporting to the Head of Digital Platforms Latin America, this role requires a comprehensive command of corporate Digital Platforms, client connectivity solutions, and the regulatory and competitive dynamics across Latin American markets. The SVP acts as a key senior partner between Global Platform and Data Services (PDS) teams and LATAM country organizations, ensuring that Citi's Digital Platforms are positioned as best-in-class solutions for corporate and institutional clients across the region.

With digitization fundamentally reshaping how corporate clients manage their treasury and financial operations, this role demands a seasoned leader who can define and drive the regional Digital Platforms agenda — spanning Corporate Online Banking, Host-to-Host connectivity, API-based integration, and ERP/TMS connectivity — while navigating a large, complex, and matrixed global organization. The SVP brings deep subject matter expertise, strong leadership skills, and the executive presence needed to influence senior stakeholders, shape investment decisions, and lead transformational initiatives across multiple geographies. The impact of this role is significant and far-reaching, directly shaping Citi Services' competitive position, revenue performance, and digital client experience across Latin America.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines and leads the regional Digital Platforms strategy for Latin America, setting the roadmap to position Citi as the leading provider of corporate digital solutions across the region, in close partnership with Global Platform and Data Services (PDS) teams and LATAM country leadership

  • Serves as a key senior partner and strategic liaison between Global PDS and LATAM country organizations, influencing global product roadmaps and investment priorities based on deep regional market intelligence and client insights

  • Leads engagement with Services Heads, and senior client stakeholders to shape the Digital Platforms agenda, anticipate market needs, and ensure Citi's solutions remain competitive and relevant across LATAM markets

  • Drives the adoption, penetration, and revenue growth of Citi's Digital Platforms — including Corporate Online Banking (CitiDirect), Host-to-Host (H2H) file-based connectivity, API-based integration, ERP and TMS connectivity, and SWIFT services— across the region, defining go-to-market strategies and commercialization plans

  • Oversees the identification, prioritization, and execution of market and regulatory delivery requirements across LATAM countries, ensuring compliant and timely platform launches in coordination with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams

  • Partners with country Digital Platforms managers, Market Managers, and Sales leaders to ensure consistent and high-quality execution of Digital Platforms strategies at the local level, driving alignment and accountability across markets

  • Leads and influences cross-functional teams — including technology, operations, legal, implementations, and sales — to deliver end-to-end Digital Platforms solutions that meet the complex needs of corporate and institutional clients across the region

  • Defines and monitors key performance indicators for Digital Platforms across LATAM, including platform penetration, transaction volumes, fee revenue, and client adoption metrics, taking corrective action where needed to ensure targets are met

  • Builds and sustains a strong culture of innovation by staying abreast of emerging trends in corporate digital banking, open banking, real-time payments, and disruptive technologies, translating these into strategic opportunities for Citi's Digital Platforms

  • Establishes and nurtures senior-level relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including strategic technology partners, fintech disruptors, and industry bodies, to enhance Citi's Digital Platforms ecosystem across the region

  • Leads governance forums and senior discussions related to Digital Platforms investment prioritization, pricing strategy, and capability development, providing well-grounded regional perspective and driving consensus across stakeholders

  • Champions risk management and control excellence across all Digital Platforms initiatives, appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, Digital Platforms, corporate treasury solutions, or related fields within financial services or technology companies, with a track record of increasing seniority and regional scope

  • Extensive expertise in corporate Digital Platforms and connectivity solutions, including Corporate Online Banking (CitiDirect), Host-to-Host (H2H), API-based integration, ERP/TMS connectivity, and SWIFT services

  • Deep knowledge of Latin American markets, including regional regulatory environments, competitive dynamics, and corporate client needs across multiple countries

  • Demonstrated experience leading and influencing across large, complex, and matrixed global organizations, with the ability to drive alignment and accountability across geographies and functions

  • Proven ability to define and execute strategic plans that deliver measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, market share expansion, and client adoption

  • Strong executive presence and diplomacy skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build consensus with senior internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing product P&L, pricing strategies, and investment prioritization in a regional or global context

  • Ability to make complex, high-stakes judgments and provide strategic direction based on sophisticated analytical thought and deep market knowledge

  • Demonstrated leadership in driving innovation, identifying emerging digital trends, and translating them into actionable product and business strategies

  • Experience with and confidence in delivering executive-level presentations to senior leadership, clients, and external partners

  • Consistently demonstrates clear, compelling, and concise communication skills across written and verbal formats
