Job Summary and Qualifications

The VP Chief of GPO Sales is responsible for shaping and executing HealthTrust’s enterprise sales strategy across its full portfolio of solutions, including GPO, AdvantageTrust, Performance Solutions, and CrimsonAI powered by HealthTrust. This executive leader drives revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic engagement with integrated delivery networks (IDNs), health systems, and other enterprise healthcare organizations.

In addition to accelerating national GPO sales growth, the VP Chief of Sales leads the integration of enterprise-wide sales efforts, ensuring a coordinated, customer-focused approach that delivers measurable value across the HealthTrust portfolio. This role plays a critical part in evaluating prospective members for strategic, operational, financial, and cultural fit, preserving the integrity and long-term success of HealthTrust’s committed model.

Working closely with executive leadership, the VP Chief of Sales establishes growth strategies, sets performance expectations, develops high-performing sales teams, and monitors results to ensure alignment with organizational goals and sustainable business growth

Major Responsibilities:

  • Direct and lead enterprise sales efforts across HealthTrust’s portfolio, including GPO, AdvantageTrust, Performance Solutions, and CrimsonAI powered by HealthTrust.
  • Develop and implement enterprise sales strategies aligned with company objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead national GPO sales initiatives to grow membership and revenue while ensuring adherence to committed model standards.
  • Evaluate prospective enterprise members for strategic fit, compliance readiness, financial impact, and long-term value alignment.
  • Partner and collaborate with business unit leaders across AdvantageTrust, Performance Solutions, CrimsonAI powered by HealthTrust, and other solution areas to ensure sales strategies, priorities, and performance goals are aligned with business unit objectives and operational capabilities.
  • Establish sales targets and key performance indicators; monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain an ongoing enterprise sales training and development program to strengthen consultative selling capabilities, cross-portfolio knowledge, and disciplined execution of the committed model.
  • Lead, develop, and retain high-performing enterprise sales teams.
  • Drive acquisition of new enterprise accounts and expansion of existing strategic relationships.
  • Cultivate executive-level client relationships and serve as executive sponsor for strategic accounts.
  • Lead negotiations and execution of complex, multi-solution enterprise agreements.
  • Ensure cross-functional coordination across sales, operations, product, and leadership teams to deliver client commitments.
  • Develop and implement enterprise sales strategies aligned with company objectives and growth targets.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, required.
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic sales or account management, managing large national and/or global brand relationships and managing a book of business is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in market segment experience or successful record of accomplishment in sales is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
