What You’ll Do
  • Lead performance analysis and reporting for a diverse portfolio of real estate investments, including land entitlement and construction projects, industrial, build-for-rent, multifamily, vacant land, and other property types.
  • Evaluate fund- and asset-level financial performance, cash flow projections, operating metrics, variances, capital requirements, and portfolio trends.
  • Develop executive-level dashboards and reporting that translate complex financial information into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Partner with senior management to support investment sourcing, cost effectiveness, and strategic business decisions.
  • Provide accurate and transparent updates regarding portfolio performance and strategic initiatives, including external communications for investors and joint venture partners.
  • Manage asset and fund valuation processes in conjunction with annual audits.
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting, including financial and operating metric analysis, cash forecasting, variance reporting, and capital management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts while fostering accountability, collaboration, professional development, and strong execution.
  • Collaborate across Accounting, Real Estate, Investor Relations, and other business functions to advance cohesive portfolio management strategies.
  • Support due diligence, financing, and refinancing activities across the portfolio.
  • Establish and implement best practices, policies, and procedures that improve reporting quality and streamline cross-functional workflows.
  • Lead ad hoc financial analyses and strategic projects as business needs evolve.
What You Bring

  • 5 to 10 years of direct supervisory experience, including workload management, delegation, employee development, performance management, training, and hiring.
  • Advanced financial modeling and underwriting capabilities, including experience with valuation models and multi-tier waterfalls.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex financial reports, joint venture agreements, private placement memorandums, appraisals, third-party reports, and legal documents.
  • Strong project management skills and a consistent record of delivering accurate work within demanding timelines.
  • Executive-level written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience communicating effectively with senior executives, investors, institutional partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or another relevant area of study preferred.
  • FP&A experience is a plus.
