Atlantic Animal Hospitals, located near Daytona Beach, is growing and looking for an additional Associate Veterinarian to join their team. We offer high-quality small animal medicine in a modern and state-of-the-art-facility.

Atlantic Animal Hospital is a beautiful practice located 15 minutes from Daytona Beach. Our schedules allow for a healthy work-life balance. The Area

Enjoy a year-round warm climate when you live in sunny Daytona Beach, Florida. It is home to many restaurants, shops, museums, festivals, local markets and of course the Daytona International Speedway. Spend the day boating, fishing, golfing, at a splash park or on the boardwalk. This picturesque suburban area is tucked away from the tourism, yet conveniently located near I-95. As the narrowest part of the state it makes for an easy drive to the Atlantic Ocean or Gulf of Mexico. It is also a short 45-minute drive to Disney World in Orlando.


Rate of Pay:                 $68,474.00 to $140,000.00 per year

Duties:                          Responsible for performing physical examinations and diagnostic, medical, surgical and dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. Advance the quality of medicine in the practice and provide exceptional client service to our clients and patients. Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to, and empathizing with their concerns. Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs. Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols. Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine. Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service. Present a positive image of the clinic in the professional community and to the general public.

Requirements:              Employer will accept a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires:
1. Animal care and medicine including treatment plans, preventative care and diagnostic skills;
2. Following and establishing protocols for treatments;
3. Performing soft tissue surgery on a variety of domestic animals; and
4. Diagnosing care cases and prescribing the appropriate treatment and medications for care and cure.

License Requirements: Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program. Must be eligible for state licensure.
