THE OPPORTUNITY
The Production Team Lead - Embroidery is responsible for leading the daily operation of an assigned embroidery production team while helping ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals are achieved. This role provides hands-on leadership by training, coaching, motivating, and supporting team members while also assisting with embroidery production, workflow coordination, quality control, and machine operation.
The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with production experience and enjoys creating an organized, positive, and results-driven work environment.
PAY + SCHEDULE
Pay: $23.00-$26.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Thursday | 3:30 PM-2:00 AM
Location: Longmont, CO

A TYPICAL DAY
  • Lead, coach, and support embroidery production team members to achieve daily safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Train team members on job responsibilities, safe work practices, company policies, and department procedures.
  • Partner with trainers and leaders to support onboarding, skill development, and employee success.
  • Monitorattendance, punctuality, and payroll approvals while maintaining accurate Workday records.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins and communicate performance, attendance, or operational concerns to leadership.
  • Assistwith performance reviews and compensation discussions.
  • Establishdaily production priorities and communicate workload expectations to the team.
  • Utilizeproduction reports, schedules, and work orders to organize workflow and meet customer deadlines.
  • Coordinate resources and request support from other departments as needed.
  • Maintain Lakeshirts quality standards while driving department goals for productivity, accuracy, and on-time performance.
  • Promote a safe work environment and address safety concernsin accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
  • Support and maintain 6S principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety.
  • Organize garment orders, stage production work,locate orders, and assist with material movement as needed.
  • Operateembroidery equipment, process embroidery orders, prepare garments, and make quality adjustments when necessary.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS
  • High school diploma or GEDrequired.
  • Bilingual communication skillsrequired.
  • Previousleadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects andchanging production demands.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable, self-directed, and motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Previousembroidery, sewing, decorating, apparel production, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to accurately interpret work orders and production paperwork.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks whilemaintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
  • Flexible availability based on production workloads.
