About the Role
Uniform Advantage is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Digitizer to join our Embroidery team. This role is responsible for converting artwork into high-quality embroidery files that meet production standards and ensure efficient machine performance. The ideal candidate combines technical digitizing expertise with strong quality control skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
What You'll Do
  • Convert supplied artwork into digitized embroidery files using professional digitizing software (Wilcom EmbroideryStudio)
  • Optimize stitch types, densities, and sequencing for quality and machine efficiency
  • Conduct sew-out tests to verify stitch quality and final design appearance
  • Communicate clearly regarding design limitations, adjustments, and feasibility
  • Maintain design accuracy including sizing, placement, and color consistency
  • Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
  • Organize and maintain digital file storage and naming conventions
  • Troubleshoot sew-outs and make timely corrections to ensure production readiness

What We're Looking For
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in industrial/commercial embroidery
  • Experience in both embroidery design and sew-out production
  • Advanced proficiency in Wilcom digitizing software
  • Experience working in a commercial embroidery or apparel production environment

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio or comparable digitizing platforms
  • Working knowledge of single-head and multi-head commercial embroidery machines
